We are pleased to introduce you to Martin Chambers, BSc.

Martin is a Project Coordinator at SYLVIS. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Horticulture (Plant Science) from the University of Plymouth in England. He has over eight years experience working with soils and plants in the horticulture and agriculture industries.

At SYLVIS, Martin coordinates biosolids reclamation and restoration projects. Martin’s responsibilities include coordinating with residuals generators, transporters, and landowners to facilitate deliveries and applications for field projects. He is also responsible for conducting environmental monitoring and sampling for soil, vegetation, and residuals, as well as writing technical reports. As a Project Health and Safety Champion, Martin is a leader in health and safety on numerous projects, ensuring that the project’s safety targets are met.

In his spare time, Martin can be found exploring through British Columbia’s temperate rainforests with his wife and daughter.
