Elling Dahlen

We are pleased to introduce you to Elling Dahlen, General Manager of SYLVIS Environmental.

Elling brings experience in business leadership, investment, and operational management, playing a key role in driving strategic growth and operational excellence at SYLVIS. He is committed to advancing innovative and sustainable environmental solutions, supporting SYLVIS’s mission of Make Waste History.

Prior to joining SYLVIS, Elling co-founded a private investment firm focused on acquiring, operating, and growing small and medium-sized businesses in Canada. He has been actively involved in acquiring and operating multiple businesses, including being the Co-CEO of a powder coating business, where he led significant revenue and EBITDA growth while implementing operational efficiencies and strategic sales initiatives.

Elling’s financial expertise stems from his time as an investment analyst at a leading hedge fund based out of New York, where he specialized in North American industrials, and his tenure at a leading global investment bank, where he advised clients on M&A processes both on the buy-side and sell-side.

Outside of work, Elling enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and traveling. Whether exploring the outdoors or tackling new business challenges, he’s always up for an adventure.
