SYLVIS staff are actively involved in organizations which support beneficial residuals management. SYLVIS President, Mike Van Ham is a board member of the Northwest Biosolids Management Association (NBMA). The NBMA’s mission is to “advance environmental sustainability through the beneficial use of biosolids.”
Mike recently joined other biosolids professionals from the Pacific Northwest of Canada and the United States for a leadership seminar where together they developed the NBMA 2014 Action Plan. To learn more about the NBMA, their activities, tools and becoming a member, click to visit their website.
