2018 Organic Matter Recycling Regulation Intentions Paper Summary of Public Input Released

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy (ENV) is in the process of revising the Organic Matter Recycling Regulation (OMRR) and recently released their Summary of Public Input in Response to the 2018 Intentions Paper report. The report summarizes the comments and feedback received on the 2018 Intentions Paper that was released in September of 2018.

ENV received responses to the proposed revisions from local, provincial or federal governments and associated agencies, industry associations, private sector individuals working in the agricultural industry, First Nations, and the public. The report is comprised of a summary of the comments and input that was received about the 2018 Intentions Paper as well as ENV’s response to the comments.
