SYLVIS, with partners at Northern Tilth and the University of Washington, developed the Biosolids Emissions Assessment Model (BEAM) to calculate greenhouse gas emissions from Canadian biosolids management.
Management Plans
SYLVIS develops residuals management plans to meet the short and long-term planning horizons for our residuals clients.
In completing residuals management plans we draw upon our extensive technical, operational and regulatory expertise to create management plans that:
- are sustainable and scientifically based;
- are economically and operationally feasible;
- comply with all appropriate regulations;
- align with the organizational values of our clients;
- promote diversification in management options; and
- provide flexibility and appropriate contingency.
As a result, our management plans provide our clients with a clear direction for sustainable, stakeholder supported and cost-effective residuals management.
