We are pleased to introduce you to Victor Nery, FIT.

Victor is a Forester in Training in BC, with a bachelor of forestry engineering from Brazil and a Masters of Science in Forestry from UBC. In both degrees, Victor received several awards and scholarships including: the IMAJO award for excellence in Cedar management, Donald S. McPhee Fellowship for Academic achievement and the NERC - IPS scholarship. His latest work has been featured in magazines and journals, generating frequent invitations to present his ideas in seminars, conferences and to the employees of forestry companies.

With a multidisciplinary profile and over five years of combined work and research experience in the environmental and forestry sector, his areas of expertise relate to:  growth & yield, reclamation, soil science, fertilization, silviculture, carbon and economic analysis. He has also been responsible for organizing and managing project implementation, subsequent inventory and monitoring, supervising contractors and successfully leading crews for the collection of data in remote areas throughout the world.

Victor is a passionate environmental scientist and project coordinator, dedicated to delivering excellent and innovative solutions, and with a strong belief that good science has to be equally practical and economically beneficial.
